Self-driving bus connects the center of Neubäu am See with the train station
From July 15 to August 14, 2024, visitors and residents of Neubäu am See will have the opportunity to leave their cars behind and use the free shuttle service between the charming town center and the lakeside promenade to the train station. This service is provided by an autonomous shuttle bus that has been modified by AVL Software and Functions. It runs nine times a day between the idyllic Seepark and the train station. The departure times are perfectly coordinated with the train connections to Cham and Schwandorf, so that trips to Neubäu can begin or end there.
Each trip is accompanied by an experienced operator who can intervene in the journey if necessary to ensure the safety of passengers.
