Development of an innovative networked ADAS/AD LABor test station for SENsors

The project ADLABSENS investigates how different weather conditions can be realistically reproduced in a laboratory environment.

The focus is on the reproduction of certain weather effects such as rain, fog and sun, as well as deviating environmental conditions in the test environment.

For this purpose, the first step is to specify the requirements for the test environment as well as the test methodologies and processes. Based on this, the prototypical test environment is built and examined with regard to the fulfillment of the defined requirements.

The results form the basis for setting up the sensor test bench at the Roding site, on which sensor technology can be validated in a wide variety of test scenarios from ADAS/AD-relevant scenarios.
