Last week, we welcomed the Bavarian State Minister for Science and the Arts, Markus Blume, as well as other Bavarian state politicians to the AVL Mobility and Sensor Test Centre.
Pioneering ADAS/AD innovations are not only being developed in urban centres, but also in rural areas. At the AVL Software and Functions GmbH site in Roding, the focus was on sensor tests under various weather scenarios in our weather hall. One highlight was a test drive in our autonomous people mover ‘AutBus’, which has the potential to change mobility in rural regions in the long term.
